How to be a chick magnet
So you want to be a chick magnet? Okay, so here are a few pointers to help you score that extra points with girls, but before you guys get too excited about it, I must emphasize that these are just my personal opinions, which can be at times, rather worthless. So...trust me at your own perils.
1. Smile with your eyes.
Although it's not uncommon to see girls going head-over-heels over male celebrities who gain their fames and statuses by not smiling, refusing to work your facial muscles doesn't automatically make you a chick-magnet. Girls want someone whom they can turn to for emotional support, so by appearing to be "emotionless", you can be almost certain that you have already lost half the battle.
Still not convinced? Look into the mirror, and you shall see for yourself why the equation "don't smile = cool" is not the same as Newton's third law.
2. Bring a packet of tissue paper.
This will not only come in handy if bird dropping so unfortunately lands on you (or your date), having a packet of tissue paper with you shows that you are sensitive to her needs, and this can very quickly build you up as someone she can depend on.
The next time you are out with her, try offering her a piece of tissue paper after a meal.
3. Tell a joke, not be one.
This can be tricky. Although everyone can memorize a joke or two, being able to regurgitate them precisely as they are doesn't automatically make you humorous. Believe it or not, the same joke told by two different people just don't sound the same.
If you are not naturally humorous, don't try too hard. You are better off seen as a serious and dependable person than as a joker who somehow has his maturing process halted after completing his "O" Levels.
You don't have to dash forward to open every door for her. Carry her shopping bags for her, but never her handbag. She doesn't need a servant, so don't be one and make yourself look weak.
Being agreeable doesn't make you more attractive, it just make you, well, more agreeable. Guys who know what they want and believe in appear more masculine.
If you don't know what you want, you won't be wanted.
6. Be generous, but don't be a spendthrift.
Don't be a miser, especially on your first date. Pay for her meal, unless she insists on going dutch. However, don't try to show-off by procuring unjustifiably exorbitant items, it just doesn't work. It's a major turn-off for girls to know that you are spending more on shopping than them. I secretly suspect that they would rather that you spend less, so they get to spend more on your behalf, on themselves.
Jokes aside, any girls who are looking for a serious, long-term relationship will also be looking for financial security. Splurging unnecessarily only makes you seem less dependable, so don't, unless you can prove that your wealth is enough to last two generations of your descendants.
7. Be on time, or even better, early.
This is pretty straightforward. Wait for her, and do so happily (well, within reasonable limits of course).
8. Look at her in the eye.
Give her your full attention when talking to her. Every woman wants to feel special and adored, and this is one way to make her feel that way. Put away your phone for the entire date if possible. Leave it on silent mode, and turn off the vibration alert. Reserve that time for the both of you only, and make her feel important.
Be present and know who to give your attention to. There is a time and place for everything.
9. Be confident.
Be comfortable in your own skin. Walk LIKE A BOSS. Share with her something personal about yourself that might put yourself in a slightly vulnerable position. This not only (contradictory) portrays confidence, but also can be very effective in forging a special connection between the two of you. Just remember, those who boast the most are often the most insecure ones, so don't.
Shit happens sometimes, and when something embarrassing happens to you, she will probably start laughing. Join in, laugh with her at yourself, and you will be surprised how attractive it is to be able to laugh at your own embarrassing moments.
Lastly, simply be yourself. Girls will find you genuine and unpretentious, and may become less defensive towards you. This gives you the perfect opportunity to further build trust, which is the first step towards any fruitful relationships.
